On the 4th day of Christmas...

...my true love gave to me; a freezing foot behind my warm knee!!
LOL ~even when 2 turtle doves find they're way into our bed in the morning, the mister still finds my leg to entwine in his which I take as his little way of giving me affection amoungst the 2 small bodies that manage to take up the entire bed*

Today is cold and grey, the same weather it was exactly a year ago when we lost our dad (my father inlaw).  Today is his 1yr death anniversary.  I can't believe a year has past already.  We visited his grave today which is beside Alan's maternal Lola.  Although we "talk" to Dad daily, it was nice to visit the grave to speak to him again.  Yas and I had our moment and then the mister had his alone.  Dad is so painfully missed but we make sure to be happy, love each other, and stay healthy because he would want us to be.  We love you dad, Lolo Vic.

For today's activity we trimmed all 3 Christmas trees...yup you read right, 3!  We have a creme vintage tree in the enclosed porch, our downtown condo tree in the dining room, and our first real christmas tree in the family/library room!  It was so cute watching Ava play and stare at the wooden ornaments and much more fun watching the teenager thoughtfully place each ornament carefully!  All the trees look just wonderful and now the house is starting to fill up with holiday cheer*

It's 6pm and time to unwind.  We decide it's a Harry Potter movie watching evening.  I'm about to make 2 coffees, 2 hot chocolates, and some warm baby food for us to enjoy on the couch.
Good night...til tomorrow!
