I'm soo hot and now I've got to pee. What do I do?! ...I decide to just lay there. Great here goes my mind...
Today is December 1st. *Already?! Crap!* I mentally list all the things I still have to do to prepare for Christmas! I start to sweat a little more.
::If anyone knows me Christmas is my fa-favourite holiday! I just la-love Christmas and all the wonderful feelings and magic that comes with this festive holiday!::
As I turned to my side to relieve the pressure on my bladder I look at Jordyn and chuckle at the resemblance she has of her Lolo Vic. Oh Dad, you'd be laughing too! ~I think of him, and then I think of the date, and then I realized that exactly a year ago our lives completely changed. I looked at Alan and I thank my father inlaw for being the man he was because it made and sculpted the man that is my husband and the father that he is to our daughters.
Today is another day that I must make happy for my family.
~
Our day started out with 2 happy faces and 1 zombie (me). Just like every morning I tell my 2 bff's what we have planned for today! Today we're going over to Khalon's house and Tita Cindy is picking us up early this morning. "Yay!" said the toddler and she is ready to get the day started...too bad she can't stop dancing around for me to get her dressed and hair combed! I decide dressed is good enough and turn my attention to the baby. Jordyn is now at the stage of not wanting to lay still. I use anything and everything to keep her occupied; this morning my blush brush held her down and in a flash she was cleaned and dressed. Hooray! 2 down and 1 to go!!
Cindy rings the door bell and we're off for the day! Lunch playdate and an afternoon of laughs! We just love our times with the Nashes!!

So for the last few years I have made activity advent calendars leading up to Christmas. With this Christmas being in the new house, I want to make sure it's extra fun and creative!
It's day 1 and today I made it easy for me, I hand out those chocolate Christmas Advent Calendars! It's a tradition I've started with Yasmine and one I intend to keep until they have kids of their own!
I just loved it when my brother and I would get these when we were young...to open a box each day with a chocolate treat was a highlight of Decembers I clearly remember as a kid! Ava was soo excited! She is such a happy elf!
